Call VP 2012/001 RELACIONES LABORALES Y DIÁLOGO SOCIAL-  VP/2012/001- The deadlines for the submission of applications and the permissible start dates of actions are as follows:
- 17 April 2012 for actions commencing no earlier than 17 June 2012 and no later than 21 December 2012
- 4 September 2012 for actions commencing no earlier than 4 November 2012 and no later than 21 December 2012.

Call VP 2012/002 Information and training measures for workers' organisations. Eligible organisations are social partner organisations representing workers at European, national or regional level; the registered office of these organisations must be based in one of the Member States of the European Union.

The deadline for the submission of applications is as follows:
- 7 May 2012 for actions commencing no earlier than 7 July 2012 and no later than 21 December 2012.

Call VP 2012/003  Information, consultation and participation of representatives of undertakings. Eligible applicants are:
• social partners at all levels, undertakings, European works councils;
• exceptionally, non-profit technical bodies specifically mandated by the social
partners.

The deadlines for the submission of applications are as follows:
- 30 april 2012 for actions commencing no earlier than 30 June 2012 and no later than 22 December 2012
- 04 September 2012 for actions commencing no earlier than 04 November 2012 and no later than 22 December 2012 
LIFE 2007-2013 The sixth LIFE+ call for proposals was published on 13 March 2012, with up to €276 million available for co-financing of projects under three headings: Nature and biodiversity; Environment policy and governance; and Information and communication. Project proposals should be sent to the relevant national authority no later than 26 September, 2012. National authorities will then send them to the European Commission by 2 October, 2012. The earliest possible starting date for 2012 projects is 1 July, 2013. 
Entrepreneurship Education The objective of this call is to promote projects with a high added value at European level in education for entrepreneurship. Actions will target teachers and young people in primary, secondary and tertiary education. Deadline:16/04/2012
European Destination of Excellence- Accessible Tourism The objective of the present call for proposals is to support eligible countries’ National Administrations in charge of tourism, or other eligible public bodies for the purpose of the selection of one EDEN destination of excellence.  Deadline:30/04/2012
The following aspects of accessibility could be considered (a non-exhaustive list): 
-barrier-free destinations (infrastructure and facilities); 
-transport (by air, land and sea, suitable for all users); 
-high quality services (delivered by trained staff);activities, exhibits, attractions (allowing -participation in tourism by everyone); 
-marketing, booking systems, web sites & services (information accessible to all).  

Política de Coehesion UE 2014-2020 . La política de cohesión de la UE ha sido un auténtico motor de cambio en los últimos diez años, ya que ha contribuido verdaderamente a la convergencia y el crecimiento en la UE y a la creación directa de más de un millón de empleos, ha invertido en formación para que más de diez millones de personas tengan más posibilidades de encontrar un empleo, ha cofinanciado la construcción de más de 2 000 km de autopistas y 4 000 km de vías férreas y ha permitido la creación de, como mínimo, 800 000 pequeñas y medianas empresas (PYME). New EU Programme for Social Change and Innvation The EU Programme for Social Change and Innovation (PSCI) is an instrument to be managed directly by the Commission, in support of employment and social policies across the EU. It is part of the Commission's proposal for the EU regional, employment and social policy for 2014-2020.  

Future Cohesion Policy UE 2014-2020 The European Commission has adopted a draft legislative package which will frame cohesion policy for 2014-2020. The new proposals are designed to reinforce the strategic dimension of the policy and to ensure that EU investment is targeted on Europe's long-term goals for growth and jobs ("Europe 2020").
Through Partnership Contracts agreed with the Commission, Member States will commit to focussing on fewer investment priorities in line with these objectives. The package also harmonises the rules related to different funds, including rural development and maritime and fisheries, to increase the coherence of EU action.

OIT - Comercio y Empleo en la crisis mundial.
Mientras el mundo empieza a recuperarse de la mayor crisis económica y financiera desde la Gran Depresión, disponemos en la actualidad de los datos para las primeras evaluaciones de las causas y consecuencias de la crisis. En esta publicación se examinan las características mundiales del comercio y el empleo, así como los datos concluyentes obtenidos de siete estudios a escala nacional realizados por la OIT que se centran en los efectos en el empleo de los cambios producidos en las corrientes comerciales durante la crisis. Los estudios abarcan dos países de bajos ingresos (Liberia y Uganda), tres países de ingresos medios-bajos (Egipto, India y Ucrania) y dos países de ingresos medios-altos (Brasil y Sudáfrica).
